Nitrogen content in Hydrotreater Make-up Gas

Hi All,

We have possibility to use hydrogen reach gas with 15%mol nitrogen as diesel hydrotreater make-up gas. In may opinion this nitrogen will concentrate in recycle hydrogen stream, as  part of hydrogen is consumed by process, nitrogen concentration will increase and H2 partial pressure will start to decline. Only way to remove this nitrogen is purge.
If this above is true this possibility doesn't look attractive.

Does anybody have experience with high content of N2 in make-up gas?

Regards,

Milutin
