I'm thinking about specifying a flexible growth medium (FGM) on one of my project.  The produce I have in mind is Flexterra by Profile Products.  Does anyone have experience using this product?  The product sounds like an ESC silver bullet.  The benefits of RECP with the application ease of hydraulically applied mulch.  However, after examining a sample of the product, I am left wondering what kind of germination success rate can I expect.  There doesn't appear to be any paths for seedlings to emerge from.

Any experience would be appreciated.

Thanks
